We are a local small business of professional qualified plumbers and tilers, working to the highest standards and with affordable prices. Operating out of Cheshire and covering the surrounding areas in the North West. Working to accommodate any budget and requirements of our customers. We specialise in fitting new kitchens and bathrooms, renovating or upgrading existing kitchens and bathrooms, fault finding and carrying out repairs. Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Stile, hereafter referred to as "the Company," in connection with bathroom fitting and plumbing works.

1. Quotations and Estimates

  • All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

  • Quotations are based on the information provided at the time of assessment. Any additional work required or changes to the original scope may incur additional charges.

2. Booking and Deposits

  • A deposit to be agreed upon is required to secure a booking.

  • This deposit must be paid no later than 14 calendar days (2 weeks) prior to the agreed start date of the work.

  • Failure to pay the deposit on time may result in cancellation or rescheduling of the work.

3. Payment Terms

  • The final balance is due within 7 calendar days of the date of invoice, which will be issued upon completion of the work or in agreed stages for larger projects.

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, or other agreed method.

  • Late payments may be subject to interest charges of 8% + the bank of England base rate and/or legal recovery costs.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the scheduled start date will receive a full refund of any deposit paid.

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled start date may result in loss of deposit, subject to the discretion of the Company.

5. Workmanship and Materials

  • All work will be carried out in a professional manner and in accordance with relevant industry standards.

  • Any materials supplied by the Company are guaranteed under the manufacturer’s warranty.

  • The Company is not responsible for faults caused by materials supplied by the client or third parties.

6. Access and Utilities

  • The client agrees to provide access to the property during working hours and to ensure that essential services (e.g., water, electricity) are available for the duration of the work.

7. Liability

  • The Company holds appropriate public liability insurance.

  • The Company is not liable for damage caused to hidden or undisclosed services (e.g., pipes, cables) unless prior information has been provided.

8. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes arising under these terms shall be addressed in writing to Stile within 14 days of the issue.

  • The Company will make reasonable efforts to resolve any dispute amicably.

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Great Britain.
